Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews are having the time of their lives as they spend the festive period on the island of St Barts.

The married couple brought their son Theodore, 15 months, to the island with Vogue admitting she had been looking forward to the trip to the Caribbean all year.

Alongside adorable snaps of Theodore, she wrote: ‘Arrived in paradise yesterday… I spent the whole day walking around with T, he just wants to explore EVERYTHING! I’ve been looking forward to this trip all year and it feels so nice to chillllllllll.’

Shortly before the couple jetted off to the island, Vogue told how, although she loves her job, she ‘most definitely’ needed time away to recharge her batteries.

‘I always work as hard as I can all year knowing at the end I get a proper break with my family… I really love my job but I most definitely need some chill and recharge time.’

Spencer also gushed about the family trip, saying he spent most of his childhood in St Barts and hopes the island will mean as much to his son as it does to him.

Sharing a photo of him holding his son’s hand as they crossed the street, he wrote: ‘This island is incredibly special to me. It feels like home.

‘I spent the majority of my childhood here and was schooled and brought up here.

‘Walking around yesterday with my son made me excited that this place will probably also hold a special place in his heart and life. Good family time means everything.’

Vogue looked sensational on the trip, donning an animal print bikini top and matching bottom for a day at the beach.

Styling her blonde locks into an updo, the reality star also wore a gold necklace and a pair of sunglasses.

The trip away comes soon after Spencer told MailOnline that marrying Vogue was inevitable as they had so much in common.

Discussing becoming a family man, Spencer said: ‘I was always pretty selfish. Vogue and I weren’t looking for a serious relationship at the time we met and I think that’s probably part of the reason why we became so close as friends first. It made sense.

‘I recognised a lot of Vogue in me and vice versa. We fit, we were very compatible together – even my mum thinks we’re similar! She’s my best mate. When Vogue came around, that was me done.

‘I honestly don’t think anyone should put a timeline on it – getting it wrong is way wrong than settling it at a later date. Even some of my male friends are panicking about settling down.

‘[When you meet The One] all of a sudden, you want to put other people first. Of course you think about yourself and your work, but ultimately Vogue and Theodore are what matters.’

Poor Spencer reveals he’s always told that he’s a lucky man – even by complete strangers – and has finally accepted his fate.

‘I would argue that Vogue is lucky as well’, he joked. ‘I was getting off a flight, half asleep, and the lady just went, “You are so lucky. Your wife, she’s amazing.”

‘I’ve understood now that I’m supposed to socially accept that I’m the lucky one. I suppose I’d rather be punching rather than not! It’s a good thing, right?’

The pair tied the knot in the presence of family at Spencer’s stunning 10,000-acre family estate, Glen Affric, in Cannich, Scotland.

But this summer, they enjoyed a second wedding reception in London in front of their close friends and wider family, which Spencer says meant a lot to his wife.

Spencer said: ‘The real wedding was far more special for me, it was the day we actually got married and it will always hold a very special place in my heart.

‘This wedding was for our friends – Vogue is far more popular than me and had hundreds of friends who felt hard done by, it was just an excuse to have a party really.

‘For Vogue it was a different deal. She got to wear everything, dance, have fun and drink, whereas the first time around she was very heavily pregnant.’
