Elizabeth Sobinoff has ‘angered’ cast members on set of the new season of Married At First Sight, after entering the social experiment as an ‘intruder’ last month.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal the 27-year-old has rubbed some people up the wrong way by repeatedly promoting products on Instagram while filming in Sydney.

In recent weeks, Elizabeth has shared multiple sponsored posts from the casts’ hotel in the CBD, whereas the rest of the participants are prohibited from doing so.

‘Some people are feeling like Liz is getting preferential treatment because she is already so well-known and has a huge following,’ a source said on Tuesday.

The insider added that ‘bosses have made all other cast members lock their accounts and remove any unauthorized posts shared while filming’.

It’s also said that contestants who have already split from their partners and are back home are still being told to remove certain posts and to ‘try and remain inactive’.

Since she started filming in October, Elizabeth has shared posts to her 199,000 fans promoting a teeth whitening device and fashion brands.

Last week, the beauty also urged fans to purchase a specific type of fake tan with her unique discount code, which she would likely profit from.

In contrast, her co-stars on the upcoming seventh season of the show, which will air in 2020, have no income while filming after taking leave from their jobs.

They are mostly reliant on the approximate $150 per diem they are handed each day from producers to cover general expenses while filming.

Married At First Sight’s seventh season is expected to air on Nine in January 2020.

Filming started in early September, and is set to wrap in a couple of weeks, before the cast reunite in January to film the reunion episodes.

Elizabeth filmed her wedding in October and intruded midway through production.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Nine for comment.
