French Ligue 1 side, Lille have celebrated their forward Victor Osimhen after he scored his maiden goal for Nigeria in Tuesday’ s friendly encounter against Ukraine at the Dnipro Arena, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen netted Nigeria’s second goal in the 2-2 draw from the spot in the 33rd minute after Girondis Bordeuax winger Samuel Kalu was tripped inside the box by Eduard Sobol.
Aside from his goal, Osimhen proved a handful for the Ukrainians who struggled to cope with his movement and physicality.
Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder Joe Aribo opened scoring for Nigeria in the sixth minute.
The Super Eagles led 2-0 at half time before the hosts rallied back after the break with goals from Oleksandr Zinchenko and Roman Yaremchuk
