Four people have been found dead inside a family home in Melbourne where three young children reportedly live – as homicide police speak with a man amid their investigations.
Emergency crews were called to the house in Tullamarine, in the city’s north-west, at about 12.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
Police said a man is ‘assisting police with their inquiries’ and reassured locals there was no ongoing threat to the community following the discovery.
Homicide detectives are at the property and have established a crime scene.
Two girls and a boy are understood to live in the house, according to The Herald Sun, but police have not yet released information on the identity of the four dead people.

Another neighbour named Johnie said the police helicopter hovered above his house for an hour on Thursday.
