Lisa Marie Presley’s kids have been BANNED from attending Elvis Presley’s 85th birthday bash

Lisa Marie Presley is making a mad dash to court to allow her and her four children to attend Elvis Presley’s 85th birthday celebration, but it came up short.

Lisa Marie, 51, has been engaged in a custody battle with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood and, according to The Blast, she filed emergency court documents to allow her children to fly to Memphis, Tennessee for the celebration.

The 85th birthday celebration will take place between January 8, The King’s actual birthday, and January 11, with special appearances by Priscilla Presley and Jerry Schilling, but a Los Angeles judge turned down her request.

Presley and Lockwood have been engaged in a nasty custody battle over their 11 year old twin daughters, Finley and Harper.

Presley’s legal team from Brot Gross Fishbein filed court documents in front of a Los Angeles judge on Tuesday, asking for permission for her twins to fly to the celebration.

Lockwood’s legal team argued against it, since there is a standing order in the case that the kids can’t travel out of state without consent of the other parent or court approval.

The Los Angeles judge denied Presley’s motion because it wasn’t considered an, ’emergency’ for the children to travel.

Presley is reportedly very disappointed because she feels her kids should be able to experience their late grandfather’s birthday celebration.

The celebration kicks off Wednesday with the Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony where it is declared Elvis Presley Day by Elvis Presley Day by Memphis and Shelby County officials.

Presley was married to Lockwood, her fourth husband, in 2006, and she gave birth to their twin girls in October 2008.

She has two older children, actress Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough, with her first husband, musician Danny Keough.

Presley filed for divorce in 2016 after 10 years of marriage, and in February 2017, she took her daughters into protective custody and refused Lockwood’s claim for spousal support after claiming to have found images and videos of child pornography on his computer.

Lockwood claimed that Presley was ‘coaching’ her daughters to make these allegations, while also leveling substance abuse allegations against her.

Both Presley and Lockwood claimed the other parent put their kids in serious risk, which will result in a trial.

The trial has been set to begin on July 20, 2020, with the court blocking out an entire month for the trial to take place.
